Optional Qualifications for Operators

To verify whether your product follows Red Hat guidelines and best practices for deploying workloads, you can use the Optional qualifications tab.

About this task

Note

This tab is applicable only for Operator and Helm chart certifications.

Procedure

  1. The Optional qualifications tab provides the option to verify if your product follows Red Hat’s recommended guidelines and best practices for deploying workload on Red Hat OpenShift.
  2. When you select this tab, a functional certification is created where you will submit testing results for Red Hat’s review.

    After successful verification your workload product gets listed as Certified with the Meets Best Practices badge on the Red Hat Ecosystem catalog.
