Storage appliance certification workflow

Complete these steps to certify your storage appliance.

Procedure

  1. Create a storage appliance certification request in the Red Hat Certification Tool for each appliance. Include a specification for each appliance.
  2. Wait for the Red Hat Certification Team to apply certification policies. The team creates the official test plan for the certification.
  3. Run tests specified in the test plan. Skip tests already covered during your plug-in certification.
  4. Submit the results to Red Hat through the certification website.
  5. Review the Red Hat Certification team analysis. The team provides test plan credit as appropriate and communicates any required retesting. When all tests are credited with passing results, the certification is complete. Red Hat publishes the entry on the Red Hat Ecosystem Catalog.
  6. Work with your Red Hat partner contact to provide a representative hardware sample. Red Hat uses this sample for joint customer support.
