13.3. Deployment Mechanisms

When an application is created as described in Section 11.2, “Creating an Application”, it is configured for automatic deployment by default. If the application code is changed locally, run the following commands to commit and deploy the application automatically: Copy to Clipboard Toggle word wrap

$ git commit
$ git push

The git push command sends the application data to the remote repository and automatically deploys the application. The application automatically stops, builds, and restarts when the code changes are pushed to the remote server.

rhc configure-app -a App_Name --auto-deploy
