2.6. Predictable IP configuration
Starting in Red Hat OpenStack Platform 17.1, you can no longer use the ips-from-pool.yaml file to assign predictable IPs to your nodes. You must use the fixed_ip property in your bare-metal definition files to specify the IP address for your network.
